Charming Victorian vibe with stunning views from my spacious room. The bathroom was so big I could’ve hosted a tea party in there! Great amenities and spotless accommodation made my stay quite pleasant.
But honestly, the owner was about as warm as a Scottish winter. I felt a bit like a ghost floating around during breakfast!

Cozy but needs some TLC
The place had its charm, and breakfast was decent, but we really missed having a kettle in the room. The bathroom could use a deep clean. yikes! you can hear the family below, which can be distracting. Some small touches like water and biscuits would’ve been nice!

The stay included a spacious, well-equipped room with an amazing view, making mornings absolutely delightful. The breakfast choices were excellent, featuring a delicious soup that stood out. the lack of a kettle in the room was missed, and it would have been nice to have some additional touches like water and biscuits. Noise from the family below was occasionally distracting, which affected the overall relaxation.

Perfect for a cozy getaway
Mairi welcomed us at the station, like she knew us for ages, and the whole place felt like home. The breakfast spread was impressive, and she even catered to my needs, adding some vegan options which I truly appreciated.
It wasn't inexpensive , but still felt reasonable for what we got.

Recommend for a short staycation
Cozy room, delightful breakfast, our spacious King or Twin Room was immaculate and had everything we needed, including free Wi-Fi in public areas for easy browsing while planning our day.
Can’t think of anything without adding further information.
